• Cleo

Cleo is an English Mastiff who was rescued by a concerned lady. We facilitated raising funds from a Facebook Forum- Pickerington Pets. The donations made it possible for Cleo to get top notch medical care. She survived and thrived after having a blockage removed at Med Vet Diley. They found a plastic bag and diaper in her stomach.

  • Halo

Halo iFormerly known as Cleo- made an incredible recovery and her mama decided she needed a new name for her new life. She named her Halo because she had so many angels looking out for her.

Sweetie

Sweetie’s mama is a wonderful pet guardian. She reached out to us when Sweetie needed some tests that were costly and she had already spent a good deal of money on previous Vet bills. The pandemic found Sweetie’s mom struggling to pay for unexpected costs, something many of us can relate to. Bo Paws It Forward partnered with Sweetie’s mom and The EastSide Animal Hospital in Florida. Sadly the outcome could have been better, as Sweetie does have Lymphoma but with medication she will be able to enjoy her time with her family.

Sweetie was a rescue from a shelter in Florida. She certainly is a beauty and such a joy for her mama. ( 6/2021)

And Tater

Their pet guardian hand fed these bull dog babies after their mama Rose passed away shortly and tragically after giving birth.

Three years later- Dog Mom is doing all she can to keep up with their care following some personal and financial hardships. We are stepping up to help out with the vaccine costs and vet care.

Thank you to our donors that fund our grants and make this possible.

Meet Violet!

She is quite a spunky, lovely lady. Her dad is a veteran and works with the community. He has a heart of gold and when he found out Violet needed an ACL repair he found himself asking for help instead of offering it-as he usually does.

We worked with Staci Lovey to establish a fundraiser specifically for Violet.

We are proud that we could raise enough funds to cover $2000.00 of her surgery!

Thank You to those who contributed-Violet and her dad are moved to tears at all of the support.

Orla- “The Golden Princess”

Orla suffered from neglect. Her foot had been injured for over a year without receiving Vet treatment. We partnered with Groveport Veterinary Clinic and paid for her initial exams, medications, special diet and X-rays. Orla spent 2 months with the clinic manager while she prepared to have her foot amputated and then she would be adopted to a good home. Sadly, Orla was too compromised and passed away in surgery. While not all stories turn out the way we hope for them to, we feel its important to recognize the efforts, love and dedication of volunteers, donors and anyone who is a part of our Bo Paws family. Orla lived a lifetime in those few months and while we miss her, we know she is at peace.

Boss

Boss was another case of neglect. His new mama stepped in and we assisted her with vaccines, Flea treatment and Antibiotics. He now is living his best life!

Rex

Rex was an old man with some issues that required extra laboratory testing. We helped Rex’s family get the answers they needed so they could make a decision that was in his best interest. Sadly, it was discovered that he was diabetic. With his advanced age his family decided it was best to give him a peaceful passing. The family was very appreciative of our assistance and donated items for dogs in need. It was a real Paw It Forward Moment.

Miss S

Papa E loves Miss S. ( names are changed to protect identity) so when he had to move he refused to send her to a shelter. Bo Paws it Forward worked with Safe Harbor Peer Services In Delaware Ohio to find Miss S a safe place to stay until Papa E can secure a suitable home for his little family of two. We love dedicated pet parents like Papa E and the collaborative efforts of other organizations. We don’t have to have the same mission to work together- when we all do well, we all do better.

Dani is a fancy pup! She was rescued at 3 weeks old from a puppy mill by her devoted dog mama. Now at 8 years old, Dani needed some basic medical care, medications and a check up on allergies. Her mama had a minor medical issue and she needed some help with Dani’s vet care. Thank you to everyone that continues to support our pet parents! Dani is very loved.

Arlo was a living reminder of a loved one gone too soon.

With the generosity of our supporters, a dedicated Go Fund Me created by family and loving pet parents; Arlo received a Bi lateral TPLO surgery at MedVet Cincinnati. He is a blessed little boy that this family member adopted after his Dog Dad, passed away. ( pictured) Arlo will soon be ready to back to zoomies.
